Adachi Sushi Bar

Adachi Sushi is an upscale Sushi bar in Birmingham, MI. To say it’s absolutely delicious is an understatement. Upon speaking with the owner, I didn’t know much. I interviewed them, learning key things like how the name is referencing the beautiful gardens in the Adachi Museum of Art.

The design takes on a simple & clean approach, like much of Japanese design. I also wanted to nod to the Adachi gardens with shades of green and earth tones. One thing that was important to me was also making sure the kanji used was correct, so I utilized apps and japanese-speaking friends to ensure it was on-point. It all came together with a mockup I could truly be proud of.
